Vesta Radio Battery
This was one of the first practical lead-acid storage battery. I would date to the mid to late 1800s. The box contains a rack or 25 glass jar battery cells connected together as one. These were also used to power the earliest radios and fans. This example still retains the original zinc plaque that reads Vista Radio Battery.
