1902 Thomson Standard Portable Voltmeter
Thompson Voltmeter with wooden base and brass casing on dial. Square wooden base with rounded corners, and fourteen screws in bottom securing base section. Brass cased swing meter dial with central dome shape mounted on this. Two brass screw fixing dials for leads in right corner, etched “300” and “600” respectively, and one unmarked on left corner. Two push buttons either side of dial at bottom, right one holds the meter needle. Wooden case has fixings for leather strap handle, and sliding lid with spring clip. Notice on inside of lid gives details of the instrument and is hand signed… $125
