This radio was made circa 1945 by The Sentinel Radio Company of Evanston, Illinois Known to collectors as "Wavy Grill" Sentinel, the designers surely drew inspiration from the automotive world. Along with the insert Catalin speaker grill and the slant front frequency indicator, the dial glass allows for easy viewing from above the radio as well, and acts as an additional architectural touch to make an already attractive radio into a true work of art.
