Hartnack and Prazmowski German Compound Microscope 1890s
A leaded brass horseshoe-shaped foot supports the microscope, which is mounted on a brass pillar. A vulcanite surface protects the square stage, and a plano-concave mirror (missing Mirror) is mounted on a swinging arm beneath the condenser. Focus is achieved by a rack work set that translates the body tube up and down with respect to the stage. There is a complete lens box with 3 lenses and 3 more pieces with gradated openings. Also included are 3 eyepieces and a brass lens case. $375
