Folk Art Bee Keeper Helmet
This is a strange over the top home made bee keepers helmet. The tall head piece is canvas with a welded rod frame to hold the shape. The top is skirted and designed to tuck into a jacket or shirt. The hand sewn piping has a subtle yellow and black painted detail that is a bit of a Bee theme. The eyes and nose are galvanized metal with rusted bolts. The eye and nose opening has screen inserts. The top has an air vent that may have come off of a WWI German helmet.
