First Known EMS Training Dummy
This is a full size hand-carved wooden medical dummy. The carving is so well done it can be considered Folk Art. Take a close look at the expression and the detail in the hair. This was used to teach mouth to mouth resuscitation. There are removable rubber bladders under the canvas chest that work as lungs and a pipe in the neck and mouth. We have never found anything this early.
