Beautiful 1885 Criterion Medical Coil
This is one of the more elaborate Victorian home medical coils. These coils were very popular in the late 1800 and were thought to cure all types of ailments. This multi layered case is one of the more elegant examples. The top opens as well as a pair of barn doors in the front. This device also has a metal foot plate as of the kit.
