1845 Calligraphy Portrait
This is an original folk art calligraphy portrait drawing. This drawing is on paper that measures 12" by 16" and is all done in ink. This is a unique and primitive work that is 175 years old. It has been rolled up for many years and doesn't look like it was ever framed. There are a few rough edges, fold marks and some discoloration here and there from light exposure. Unless there is a signature hidden in the calligraphy, it is not signed. Within the drawing there is a caption but we can't make out the words. it is dated 1845... $250
