We have always considered and collected these commercial masks and helmets as industries tribal art. Examples can be elegant in their simplicity or bazaar and complex. They are always unique, suprising and filled with personality.
Original 1930s Parker-Watts Circus Photo Album
At first look you would never guess that this is a photo album. The album is an inside history of the Parker-Watts Circus. Kit Carson was an important part of this show. He was billed as "last of the famous scouts and Indian fighters". There are 50 origina lphotos plus some negatives showing parades, camp home life, clowns, elephants and other performers on the back lot. I personally love the pictures of the early vehicles and campers. This is a bit of history that can't be duplicated.... $475
