Standard Electric Time Company 1894 Tower Clock
This beautiful clock mechanism sits on the original cast iron base. The red and black paint is beautiful and it’s signed undated on brass plaques. I'm told that this was a tower clock and its also been called a master clock. There are telegraph relays as part of the whole contraption. This looks to be pre-electric but must have been one of the earliest to use an electric motor. It's an amazing object and an important rare piece of industrial history. We have not tried to plug it in. 45 in.Hx36 in.Wx24 in.D $7,200
