Shock Treatment Crown

This is one of my favorite items and also quite rare. I would categorize the device as a phonology based quack device. It’s a low voltage shock therapy helmet that can send impulses to selected parts of the head. The look reminds me of Fritz Lang’s futuristic movie classic “Metropolis”. The helmet was made by Energo of Turin Italy. It sits on an English made medical induction coil and battery box of the same period.

This is one of the objects from the Radio Guy collection that inspired the Dennis Manarchy's Award winning series and book "METAL"
